Genesis Aphrodite’s Trail

Genesis Aphrodite’s Trail is a short but scenic hike starting in the lovely village of Pissouri. From the parking area, the path leads gently downhill through olive groves, passing grazing horses, goats, and sheep.

As you continue, the sea gradually comes into view. After around 2.5 km, you reach the highlight of the walk: a stunning clifftop viewpoint where white limestone rocks meet the deep blue Mediterranean. From there, the trail follows the cliffs for a short stretch before returning to the starting point.

After the hike, Pissouri village is well worth a stop. What first seems quiet and sleepy quickly reveals itself as a lively spot with inviting terraces around the fountain in the village square.
